Site Safety

For the safety of all students, staff, and visitors to our campus, if you are visiting our campus, please only enter through the front door along Constitution. There is a button to buzz for entry. Also, please go directly to the front office to sign in and get a visitors badge or to pick up or drop off your student.

For special events, staff may direct you to a different entrance.

Site Safety Goal Team

Vision:

Mark Twain's site Safety Goal Team endeavors to provide a safe learning environment conducive to curriculum and instruction.

Mission:

Our mission is to create a safe environment for staff and students by providing clear, easily accessible guidelines and safety protocols.

At the beginning of the school year all schools are required to carry out practice drills. Those drills are fire, shelter in place and evacuation drills. All staff and students are prepared for these drills through communication and classroom conversation during morning meetings. After the four first weeks of school we practice one drill a month. Those drills are dependent on the data collected from the first four weeks of school. During the different drills, there will be no pickups or drop-offs available. Please call the office if you have questions.
